First Ordinary Meeting of the District Assembly

On Friday, 8th May 2026, the Wa West District Assembly held its First Ordinary Meeting of the District Assembly at the Assembly Conference Hall. During the meeting, the following Executive Committee recommendations were confirmed:
1.⁠ ⁠The Assembly should always make logistics available for the work sub-committee members to at least visit projects sites quarterly.
2.⁠ ⁠Assembly should organize sensitization durbars at border communities in collaboration with the security agencies to educate the people on immigration and other security laws.
3.⁠ ⁠Assembly should grant access to communities and Hon. Assembly Members who can fuel the DRIP equipment to have their service.
4.⁠ ⁠Assembly should take steps to service the Assembly Tractors for renting and hiring in the up-coming farming season.
5.⁠ ⁠Assembly should Identify obsolete items and take steps to dispose them.
